Ever wish your browser could read your mind?
This is one of my all-time favorite time-saving nerd hacks—the kind that makes your workday smoother before you've even had your first sip of coffee.
When Chrome auto-opens the tabs you use daily (Gmail, Calendar, ChatGPT, your CRM, etc.), you're not just saving clicks—you’re starting with clarity. And confidence. And, dare I say, ✨nerd joy✨.
🛠️ Step-by-Step: How to Set Chrome to Auto-Open Specific Tabs
Open all the tabs you want to launch automatically.Example: Gmail, Google Calendar, your CRM, maybe ChatGPT (wink wink).
Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of your Chrome browser (⋮)
Choose “Settings”
In the menu on the left, click “On startup”
Select: “Open a specific page or set of pages”
Choose one of these:
Click “Use current pages” to auto-save what you already have open
OR click “Add a new page” to type in your favorite URLs manually
Close and reopen Chrome to test it out—and boom! Your digital world is ready before you even sip your coffee ☕️
💡 Brooke’s Bonus Tips:
You can edit or remove tabs anytime under that same “On startup” setting
Want different tabs for different tasks? Create Chrome profiles (like one for business, one for personal)
This also works great on Chromebook and Windows machines using Chrome
✨ Final Thought
This isn’t just a “nice to have.” It’s about designing a workflow that works for YOU.
Tech doesn’t have to feel hard—it can feel like magic. Let’s keep making it easier, one click at a time
